This newly formed International group, with a plan of up to twenty new build branded budget hotel projects, is looking to recruit an experienced management professional. Offering a Salary of US$ 7,000 tax free, plus allowances totaling 4,500 US$ net, 25 days annual paid leave, medical insurance. With a direct report to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible to open and operate one property as well as oversee three further properties. You will have past experience with brand budget hotels, as well as pre openings. Experience in GCC is essential. Fluent English is required, Arabic an advantage. This position is available starting early in the New Year, on a 2 years, renewable contract.

For their all-suite beach resort that runs one of the best performance figures in the country, we are searching for a young energetic GM with a strong luxury and Asia background. This role ideally suits a strong Resident Manager, EAM or Hotel Manager in an upscale medium sized or large hotel who is ready to take on a first GM role or a current GM with up to 3 years of experience in a boutique hotel. Candidate must have Asia experience and has worked for companies such as Mandarin Oriental, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Relais & Chateaux, LHW, Banyan Tree etc. Middle East experience is a plus. The company is offering a full expatriate package with a tax free salary range of US$ 80K–96K, depending on calibre of the candidate. Russia

Please note that this is not a permanent position; rather a consultancy project. Our client requires a candidate that is a very experienced boutique hotel operator, including significant refurbishment and opening experience. Ideally the candidate will be able to relate to the challenges of converting an (old) historical/listed building. It will be advantageous if the candidate has experience of SLH/Relais Chateau (or similar). This person will work closely within the project team to maximise the efficiency and ergonomics of the conversion planning, to try to ensure the hotel will be practical from an operating perspective for the future management, staff and guests. The following tasks have been identified within the brief as the key areas within which the consultant will be involved: - Guest and staff flow analysis - Budgeting and planning for purchases of all FF&E - Liaison with the architect team to plan and design all aspects of the conversion (with hotel operations focus) The initial input required will be for 3-5 days in Moscow, thereafter weekly liaison (by telephone and email) and quarterly visits. Of course this will be subject to change, and no doubt flexible in nature, so please do not take this timing as read. Remuneration is negotiable.
